JPA Interview.

Yes,i was one of the lucky 8000 applicants that got the interview. Arrived there at 1.45 pm. Once I entered the building, I saw a lot of people gathered around. And, obviously most of them look so smart and intelligent armed with files(!).Then,signed my name on the board and waited.

My group and I waited in front of panel 3 room.We were consisted of 2 malay students, 3 chinese students,four guys and one girl. All the students there looked very nervous and I bet their adrenaline rushed seriously fast.

So I was the 1st person to enter the room. Greeted them and took my place. Then one of the interviewers told us 'All of you actually dont get shortlisted for the interview,APRIL FOOL!' All of us were like !@#*.

The 1st session was self-introduction. Assalamualaikum dan selamat petang,nama saya Anas........sekian,terima kasih. Oh, I forgot to mention the country that I chose.But its ok since general engineering has 5 other countries. Things to mention: your name of course,previous school,course,which country,family background and co-cu achievements.

Next was group discussion. My group got normal topics i think. Bagaimana hendak menyemai sifat patriotik pada malaysia di negara luar? Maybe it was normal for me because the night before the interview day, Afif and I had discussed the topic together. I thought they'll ask about engineering stuff and all that. Then,they asked us about our opinion on Mat Rempit. I just talked,talked and gave my opinion.

In the end,the interviewers told us to ask them question.Then,1 guy asked about the bond to government thing, the girl asked about pre-university and I asked them about their profession since I dont know what to ask. After that we thanked them, shook hands and chow.

Conclusion, my interview session was very relaxed and the interviewers were so kind that they dont shoot/provoke us with hard questions.Some of my friends had question like Malaysian hospitality,the astronaut and what is mechatronic? lol. I guess I did ok but I dont know whether Ill be chosen among the lucky 2000 candidates for the scholarship. If i get the scholarship, i shall thank Allah for that. If i dont, its not the end of the world for me.

p/s: The interviewers never said the april fool joke to us.
