Cuti dan Catur.

Hi, so long without updates. OK,it's post spm. I thought this period of my life will be ok,enjoy life,go insanely fun, but somehow I'm looking forward for my long,long holiday to end. Everyday is just the same day, if I don't go to the driving school in a day,I would do the same routine all over again.

I wanted to work,but due to the economy crisis,many companies just don't hire new worker. Next factor is age,companies will know if you work just for 3 months while waiting for the result.As a result,they will eventually reject the application. Maybe I should seize and enjoy the holiday days rather than waste it with working hours.

This holiday I have also managed to watch some movies released in 2008 like The Dark Knight, James Bond,Twilight and many more. One of those movies is Ayat-Ayat Cinta (literally meaning The Verses of Love). It is a nice love story and has normal love stories with sacrifice. Ok, I'm not gonna elaborate much on this. Go and see yourself.

After a long break from chess scene,my 1st chess tourn after spm was Gerak Khas Open.
Every round I had a winning position,but lack of 1+0 bullet games training caused me to play not fast as before. I got 3rd place but I think it was a good result consider that my last tourn was the MSSM Malaysia back in June of 2008.
In other words,dah berkarat. After that,no training,no wasting time,no flirting,just spm in mind.

And now, I've been playing online chess on playchess.com which is the most popular chess server in the world (claim by them,not me).
Previously,I spent a lot of time on World Chess network famously known as WCN.
The site was like a playground to me around 2003-2006 (dulu gila2 main sampai 20k bullet games).
I remember during that time, Nicholas Chan, Jonathan Chuah, Soon Wai Cheong,Siti Zulaikha and me were the active malaysian members of the site.

Sometimes, Wai cheong and me played like 50+ bullet games per day LOL. good old days.
But now,the network was bought by Internet Chess Club (ICC). It was then merged with Chess Live, which is yet another internet chess server.
Later, I found that the new server is so boring due to lack of strong,cute players.

On 7 Feb will be my next tourn and 1st in 2009.
